Over the past five years the Trustees have worked to renew this tradition. The former Dowager House has been transformed into an impressive Community, Arts and Learning Centre. The Settlement is a charity that prides itself on offering a high quality, warm, welcoming facility for organisations and community groups to use for a wide variety of activities and events. We aim to establish innovative partnerships and develop specific community, arts and learning projects. The Settlement offers for hire office space, a multi- media room and conference facilities.
